PlayAbility for Linux and SteamOS
The Linux beta provides virtual controller and keyboard controls.
What you need
- SteamOS or a supported Linux distribution, with a current PlayAbility beta build
- One-time Linux permission setup for controller controls
- A webcam for face or head controls; a microphone for voice controls
Device compatibility
- Steam Deck
- Tested by PlayAbility in SteamOS Desktop Mode. Face or head controls need an external webcam.
- Steam Machine
- Uses the same beta on SteamOS; behavior can vary with the hardware.
- Linux PC
- Setup and behavior can vary by distribution and desktop environment.
